I think you're a bit kooky, Mike.... The woman who said "What kind of animals eat on the train" is a nosy, rude woman who should mind her own business. She's the one who should examine the appropriateness, or lack thereof, of her actions. People eating on a train or bus is about as bad as combing one's hair... In other words, it's not.... The nosy, rude woman probably goes around town trying to tell everyone not to do things, simply because she doesn't agree with them.... "Hey lady, Get a life!" lol

Even it it's illegal, it's not worth saying anything to the woman about it. She's obviously going to do what she wants to do in the first place. That's how bad our society has gotten. I have to agree with everything Devoted wrote. I'm white and I never would have been so rude as to call another person an animal, because she was eating on the subway. I lived in NYC most of my life and can tell ya that ppl are always eating on the subway and doing all kinds of other stuff too... what's it to her who was eating? Maybe she was coveting the girl's spaghetti, she looked like she would have polished it off in quick fashion had the girl only offered!

Let's put you in a room full of immigrants and black and see if you won't blend right in. You think your degree matters? You better wake up and smell the immigrant coffee you love so much. If you were really educated you would understand its not about the color of your skin, Professor Tonya, but rather, your economic background and education (or lack thereof). Guess you didn't take up any courses like that in college.

To sit up there, being Black, and write such a comment, makes it worse! You should PRAISE the fact that our sista in the train didn't take that white woman's comment so lightly. We are FREE to do what we want to do! Instead of beating your sista down, you should praise her for speaking up! I hope you are an advocate in your community...if not you need to start thinking about becoming one. I'm GLAD she didn't allow anyone to call her an animal.

I don't want people to eat on the train, its rude, yes. But I give people the benefit of the doubt...maybe she has such a hectic schedule and didn't have 5 minutes to sit and eat. Who are you to judge?

Although i dont agree with fighting over a stupid reason like this, the blonde lady had it coming she should have mined her business and shouldnt have instigated a fight. People eat on the subway everyday, they do it because thats probably the only time they can eat something in their crazy schedule. The chick eating wasnt bothering anyone, she was just eating her food.

wow...how nice and civilized we all are. two ladies have to attack the one lady, but thankfully cooler heads prevailed....and over what? the fact that the one lady felt the need to break the rules and eat her damned spaghetti on the train? Or that the other lady had to get involved in it? Why was the lady being such a busy-body and scolding the other one over eating on a train?
